“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”

Our Beliefs

The most important thing about a church is what it believes. Historically, churches have used statements of faith to summarize biblical teaching and clearly identify what they believe. This unites us with other Christians across time and space. New City Church uses a slightly modified version of the New Hampshire Confession of Faith (1853) to guide our beliefs and practices. This confession reveals a rootedness in historic and evangelical Christianity, reformational doctrine, believer’s baptism, and congregational polity. All who choose to join New City Church’s membership affirm and uphold this historic statement of faith.

“In essentials unity,

in non-essentials liberty,

in all things charity.”
